MEDENER and RCREEE launch a second phase of collaboration on EE in buildings and appliances for meetmed II project
Algeria is resolutely engaged into a voluntary energy transition process, through the adoption of a Governmental action plan, based on the program of the President of the Republic, which gives an important place to energy transition, considered a necessity and a strategic choice for Algeria.
ADEME and its Moroccan partners have a long tradition of exchanges (over 20 years), with an early focus on access to energy cooperation (with the Renewable Energy Development Centre (CDER) in Morocco) and since 2010 extended to energy efficiency (with the National Agency for the Development of Renewable Energy and energy Efficiency (ADEREE) in Morocco). This agreement is the first renewal of the agreement with ADEREE in April 2010.
MEDENER in partnership with ADEME and CEFEB organized from June 1 to 3 training seminar in the field of building energy efficiency with a focus on social housing.
MEDENER with the support of OME held May 21 in Paris, a workshop to present the energy transition scenario by 2040 for the Mediterranean.
As part of the launch of Euro-Mediterranean energy platforms on the gas, the electricity markets and on EE and RE, MEDENER is positioned as one of the organizations responsible for the implementation of third platform.
