Thanks to the French Development Agency (AFD), this green financing scheme has become an integral part of the environmental context of energy transition, encouraging local financial institutions to provide financing for projects to protect the environment and improve energy efficiency in Tunisia\u2019s business sector<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSUNREF in Tunisia\u201d is still in its early stages, the contract having been signed and the steering committee named. The ANME is now in the process of choosing the consultancy to assist with the line of credit.<\/p>\n<p>A previous line of credit worth \u20ac40M \u2013provided thanks to a partnership with two local private banks, the UBCI and BIAT- had enabled the financing of eighteen industrial projects over the 2009-2012 period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tunisia\u2019s National Agency for Energy Conservation ANME is preparing to launch a SUNREF (Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Energy Finance) programme in the country.
