Jordan\u2019s NERC<\/a> (part of the Royal Scientific Society), Finland\u2019s Karelia University of Applied Sciences (with its Finpetra low-carbon future network) and Business Finland, organized the first Finno-Jordanian conference on renewable energy at the Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman in October, 2018. Taking place under the theme \u201cProspects of renewable energy investments in Jordan\u201d, the event brought together fifteen or so representatives from companies and the Finnish academic world intent on fostering the creation of joint initiatives for business, research and innovation.
