ANME, National Agency for Energy Management in Tunisia saw on that occasion extended his mandate for one year Presidency.<\/p>\n
It was also an opportunity to take a rich balance sheet for 2015 and to present the 2016 outlook to accelerate the energy transition in the Mediterranean region.<\/p>\n
2015 Report<\/strong><\/p>\n This year 2015 marks a turning point for MEDENER, who was entrusted the coordination of the Union for the Mediterranean Platform <\/a>on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, co-chaired by the European Commission and the Jordan, in partnership with RCREEE (Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy efficiency) and RES4MED (Association for Renewable Energy solutions in the Mediterranean).<\/p>\n MEDENER has developed a work program to:<\/p>\n Rich of enhanced cooperation and expanded in 2015, MEDENER, with the support of ADEME has worked to build a scenario for the energy transition by 2040<\/strong> with the expertise of OME (Mediterranean Observatory energy) structured around three ambitious objectives :<\/p>\n So many<\/span> partnerships, including<\/span> with<\/span> developed<\/span> CEFEB<\/span> (<\/span>AFD training center<\/span>), were used to develop<\/span> a roadmap<\/span> on the<\/span> capacity building\u00a0<\/span> of the actors<\/span> of the building sector<\/span> <\/strong>including social housing<\/span> represents<\/span> one of the<\/span> priorities for action<\/span> .<\/span> Regional workshops<\/span> were also<\/span> organized with the participation<\/span> of<\/span> four<\/span> countries: Morocco<\/span>, Tunisia, Algeria and Lebanon.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 2015<\/span> finally<\/span> saw an<\/strong><\/span> evolution of<\/span> statutes<\/span> MEDENER<\/span> <\/strong>which led<\/span>, first by<\/span> the establishment<\/span> of a real<\/span> secretariat<\/span> now<\/span> provides the interface<\/span> with regional partners<\/span> and<\/span> donors<\/span> and<\/span> secondly,<\/span> by developing<\/span> communication<\/span> tools<\/span> in particular,<\/span> its new website<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n 2016 Prospects<\/strong><\/p>\n In 2016<\/span>, according to the<\/span> goal of accelerating<\/span> the energy transition<\/span> in<\/span> the region,<\/span> MEDENER<\/span> activity<\/span> will result in<\/span> the official launch of<\/strong><\/span> the<\/span> EE & RE<\/span> platform<\/span> (<\/span>in the first half of the year<\/span>) and<\/span> the implementation<\/span> of<\/span> key actions<\/span>: <\/span><\/p>\n\n
