On 14 November 2016, the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Platform has been officially launched during the General Assembly of COP22 in Marrakech, led by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and co-chaired by the European Union and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
